NEXUS Werktage is two days of real work in Berlin. No exercises, rounds, or debrief. Eight people, one theme, and thinking that goes further than it usually gets to go.

It's not a retreat, nor a workshop or a coaching circle. There are no check-in rounds, post-it notes, or an hour-by-hour curriculum. Instead, there's real pushback, direct conversation, and work that doesn't stop because the scheduled time ran out.

Two mornings on the Werkstatt. Two afternoons in the city with no programme and no obligation — alone, with someone else, or wandering. An evening that continues if it needs to, or doesn't if it doesn't. The next morning again, sharper, because Berlin has done something with what the first day opened up. Individual conversations are available throughout — casual, on your terms, without a sign-up sheet.

This is for people who've had enough of formats that pitch to the weakest understanding in the room. For those who treat clarity as the way forward, who don't need to be eased in or carefully managed, and who can clear two days to find out how far thinking goes when constant self-filtering finally falls away.

The work ends where it ends. No closing circle. No takeaways on a sheet.

When translation dissolves, thinking goes further — that’s where it actually starts.

Two Days, No Performance.

Monthly editions in Berlin. Eight seats per edition, selected on fit and composition. One theme, held across two days. Apply to be considered for the next edition — no priority for those who already know us.

Practical Details

  1. When and Where: NEXUS Werktage runs monthly at NEXUS Werkstatt in Berlin, starting August 2026. Check the events calendar for upcoming editions.

  2. Group and Structure: Eight participants per edition, selected on composition. Each group is built around a theme and the people who fit it — not around who applied first.

  3. Language: English by default. Dutch or German if the whole group shares the language. Confirmed ahead of each edition.

  4. Investment: €1,000 excl. VAT. This covers both days including coffee, lunch, and dinner on the first evening if you join — arranged informally, no obligation. What you do in the city during the afternoon is your own time and your own cost. Accommodation is not included.

  5. Payment and Cancellation: An invoice is sent after selection is confirmed, due no later than one week before the edition starts. If your seat is unpaid by that deadline it is automatically released. Cancellations before the one-week deadline receive a full refund of any payment made. Cancellations after that point receive a 50% refund. No vouchers in either case.
  6. How It Works: Applications are open on a rolling basis. Once you apply we review your submission and reach out directly by email. The conversation from there is personal — we'll confirm the theme, the dates, and whether the composition works for that edition. Full programme details are shared in a confirmation document once your place is secured.
